While the Blues are undefeated after 10 rounds, they are expecting tough opposition from Belconnen who is currently fourth on the ladder, with five wins and five losses.
The Blues hosted Belconnen in the opening round on April 27 and easily accounted for them by thrashing them by 109 points, which is still the Blues' highest score of the season.
However, when the Blues travelled to Canberra for the return fixture on June 1, the Blues faced nearly a completely different Belconnen outfit. In the Blues' toughest match of the season, the Blues just prevailed by 11.
Belconnen field sides in AFL Canberra Division one and Division two. For some of their players, if you are not selected in the division two side, you could find yourselves in the Regional grade side playing at Clarke Oval.
Saturday's match is the last home match before the finals.
The Blues have been very impressed over the past four weeks with some of lesser likes, in particular, the youngsters, Jack Caldwell, Nick Holt, Brandon Sanderson, Aaron and Blake Basham, James Collingridge, Jeremy Lott and Sam Larsen.
For the Blues, it is rare to have eight players less than 21 years in their line-up.
Is the Blues of 2019, the youngest we have fielded in AFL Canberra?
Finals start August 17
