There was an equal first placing going to pairs Julie Jenkins and Jenny McAinsh, and Loo Manning and Annie MacMaster scoring 56.25% each.
Third was Barb Beveridge and Joan Adams with 52.08% and fourth place went to Lee Furness and Bob Laing.

Australia-Wide Open Event
Final results from the Australia-Wide Open Event saw five of the Cootamundra Bridge Club pairs acquiring places in the top 100 in Australia.
Well done to these pairs: Loo and Mary (15), Judith and Jane (37), Merry and Fran (58), Heather and Caroline (86), Kathy and Frank (88) and Frank and Jenny (93). Not a bad effort for our club.

Before play, Barb presented Heather Last with her certificate for attaining regional master status.

Tuesday Session
Members played a 10 table Skip Mitchell movement during the Tuesday night session.
First place north/south went to Carol East and Colleen Honner on 60.19%, with Heather Last and Caroline Hermes in second place on 54.63% and an equal third place went to pairs, Jilly Graham and Sue Heggaton, and Jane Storey and Judith Harris, scoring 51.85%.
In fifth place were Lee Furness and Bob Laing on 50.69%.
In the east/west field, our winners were Joan Adams and Kate Graham on 64.35%.
They were followed by Sue Lenehan and Barbie Hufton with 59.49%.
Third place went to Judy Balnaves and Jan Gavin scoring 53.94% and fourth place went to Jenny McAinsh and Frank Davidson, with 51.16.
