Pinnacle Community Services aims to provide a range of high quality services and support to help people to live with dignity and independence in their own homes in the community.

The organisation offers a range of Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) services, as well as NDIS and Home Care Package services.

These services include community transport, home maintenance, domestic assistance, personal care, respite and social support.

"Pinnacle Community Services strives to promote the wellness, re-ablement and independence of our clients, helping them to live their life their way," senior co-ordinator Kylie Purtell said.

"Our services have supported many people to live with dignity and independence in their own homes within their community.

"At present we are the only locally based community service providing Home Care Packages and some CHSP-funded services, such as community transport, home maintenance and modifications, and social support, to the Cootamundra community."

The Cootamundra service employs around 30 staff and volunteers, but all three Pinnacle outlets combined have over 150 staff and volunteers, from administration staff and service co-ordinators to support workers.

Pinnacle Community Services prides itself on employing local staff and volunteers with a commitment to helping local people.

"We are always on the lookout for new volunteers and offer a range of volunteering opportunities," Kylie said.

"All staff and volunteers are dedicated to providing the highest level of care and support.

"We are proud to be able to help the people of our community to achieve their goals, remain independent and live in their own homes."
