Each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the bowling greens at the club are transformed into croquet rinks.
Player Garry Harris said any new members are welcome to take part.
From 9am play starts with the croquet mornings going for between two to two and half hours depending on how many games the players want to play.
Games can take around 45 minutes to complete.
Croquet involves hitting wooden or plastic balls with a mallet through hoops, often called "wickets" embedded in a grass playing court.
While it looks a simple game, Garry said: "It's a game of strategy".
"It's much like indoor snooker only played outside with hoops instead of holes in a table," he said.
There are several variations of croquet currently played, differing in the scoring systems, order of shots, and layout.
Cost is $8 each time you play with new players welcome to take part.
