This digital and live art tour took over Wallendoon Street on October 11 and 12 wth light, music, projections, puppetry and more. The whole experience was designed with the help of amazing educators from Matriark Theatre and Coder Academy. What a spectacular experience for everyone involved.
Last week, we had a keen group of children decorating kites under the supervision of the delightful Annabel Marley, in readiness for the Harden Kite Festival. There was lots of painting, cutting, sticking and glorious mess as the children had fun creating their own bee kite, complete with wings.
Now, we look forward to Miss Em's Drama School production The Wobbly Button and the Wobblers, scheduled for Saturday, October 26, as well as the end of year concerts for Dance 2590, Cootamundra Strings and Chris Edwards School of Dance.
A fun night of live music is scheduled for Friday, November 29. Strike up the Band will feature performances by the Cootamundra Concert Band and the Young Town Band - separately and as a combined group. Tickets can be purchased at the door. We also have the talented Merilyn Pickford running an eco dyeing workshop on Saturday, October 26. Attendees will learn how to dye a woollen scarf using eucalyptus leaves. At the end of the day, you will have a beautiful scarf and the skills to create more. Bookings through TACC are essential by Friday, October 18.
Don't forget the movies, starting with Downton Abbey this Friday (October 18) at 7pm, followed by Ride Like a Girl, The Angry Birds Movie 2, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Last Christmas, Ford vs Ferrari and Frozen 2. Check out the website for details.
