Wallendbeen CWA members met for a short meeting before the groups annual general meeting with the upcoming Hume Group Conference arrangements, along with the Land Cookery Day in Temora in November.

Wallendbeen will be hosting the Land Cookery Day.
A card from the members has been sent following the death of Hume Group Patron, Mrs Muriel Commens.
Marcia has had signs made for prominent places in Wallendbeen indicating the positioning of the Defribulator available at the Wallendbeen Police Station.
Wallendbeen has 42 members, one life member and seven junior members. President Marcia in her report outlined the activities during the year. Two street stalls were held, CWA hosted the Combined Christmas afternoon, and members donated 20 We/ Care packages to be forwarded to drought areas. Awareness Week was observed with a Morning tea, Women Walk the World, and contributions totalling $900 to many organisations.
Officers reports were tabled prior to the election of office bearers. Mrs Patricia Marinan and Mrs Jean Bennett have accepted to be Patrons.
President is Natalie Wilkinson, with Carolyn Buchanan and Marcia Thorburn as Vice Presidents. Secretary, Jennifer Hocking, Treasurer, Josephine Tattersall. International Officer is Ann Breeze, Cultural Officer, Roslyn Hicks, Handicraft Jennifer Hocking, and Publicity Elizabeth Bassingthwaighte. The members will contribute to Agriculture and Environment each month. Natalie and Josephine won the Margaret Smith trophy for meeting attendance. President Natalie then welcomed guest speaker, Faith Rogers. Faith is co-ordinator with the Rural Adversity Mental Health Programme, in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District. Her focus is linking people to the support and care services available. There are program where youth workers will work with High School students as well as separate courses for older people. Faith spoke of her involvement at Henty Field Days, looking after farmer well being and Are U OK.?The next meeting will be held at the Wallendbeen Memorial Hall on Tuesday, November 12 at 2pm.
