The early part of the contest was an arm wrestle, with the score after 10 ends 7-all.
The next five ends were all Jason and Bob who got out to a 15-7 lead, but Steve and Geoff retaliated with some great bowls to narrow the deficit to two shots 13-15.
Jason and Bob finished the stronger to go on and claim the 2019 title, and in doing so Jason has won back-to-back Major/Minor titles.

Tony Curtis and Geoff Manwaring claimed the Club Minor Pairs, defeating Neil Blackett and Terry Smith.
