Frank Davidson and Kathy Rolfe were second on 50.00. Third went to Joyce Cavanagh and Ruth McCarthy from Sally Lawler and Joan Adams. The annual general meeting has been adjourned until November 25 at 6.30pm. The Christmas party will be held on December 9, to start at 6pm before play.
A red-point session with 10 full tables in attendance was played on Tuesday for a Mitchell Skip movement. Winners in the north/south field were Jenny McAinsh and Frank Davidson, scoring 62.96 per cent, with Heather last and Caroline Hermes second on 59.49.
In equal third were pairs Loo Manning and Mary Norton-Knight, and Barbie Hufton and Sue Lenehan, scoring 52.78 per cent.
In the east/west, Joan Adams and Kate Graham won with 63.89 per cent followed by Jane Storey and Judith Harris with 62.96. Third went to Annie MacMaster and Barb Beveridge on 52.31 per cent, followed by Annie Wald and Belinda Scott, and Sue Adams and Timmie Smirl (equal fourth).
The Christmas party will be held following play on December 3.
