The match was up for grabs with the score at 9/146, however, Peter Stimson with 48 not out and Phil Gerhard 6 not out guided the home side to victory with 17 balls to spare.
Bowling for the Crusaders, Dean Bradley 3/36 and Matt Berkrey 3/48 were the pick of the bowlers, while Darren Connell bowled tightly in capturing 2/34 from his 10 overs.
Meanwhile, the bowlers dominated the match at Albert Park between the Central Hotel Rams and the Young Services Blues.
Winning the toss and batting, the Central could only muster 63, the Blues replied with 8/66.
Blues' quick Josh Platt was nearly unplayable in the capturing 4/6 from 5.5 overs, while Pat Hislop snared 4/17.
The near match-winner for the Central was Jarrod Keelan.
The tall quick captured 5/25 from 9 overs.
