A 10 1/4 table Mitchell movement was played before Christmas celebrations on Tuesday night.
The winners in the north/south field were Joan Adams and Kate Graham on 62.60 per cent, just ahead of Jenny McAinsh and Frank Davidson on 61.90. In third was Mary Norton-Knight and Loo Manning on 51.79, a fraction ahead of fourth placegetters Jude Hillam and Caroline Hermes on 51.49.
In the east/west, the winners were Barb Beveridge and Annie MacMaster on a great score of 68.71 per cent, with Lyn Ramsay and Sally Lawler second on 63.27.
Third place went to Julie Moon and Rhonda Twomey with 59.86. Fourth on 54.76 was Judith Harris and Jane Storey. Fifth place went to Helen Martin and Judith Matheson on 51.36.
