To do so they will be looking for a continuation of the scintillating form shown by their top batters and bowlers.
In the under 16s competition the two Cootamundra sides aren't faring as well but have plenty of time to cement spots in the top four when the competition resumes after Christmas.
The Kookaburras are currently in third position on 40 points with the Cockatoos in fifth spot on 36 points.
This weekend the Cockatoos host Temora Thunder at Albert Park and the Kookaburras are at Stockinbingal Rec Ground where they meet Temora Scorchers.
In the under 13s the Titans travel to Young's Sawpit Gully to take on Ray White while the Cobras host Temora Tigers at Clarke Oval.
