The results of his research will be in a presentation at the Cootamundra Ex-Servicemen's Club next Monday evening, January 13 at 5.45 pm, hosted by the Cootamundra Development Corporation.
In a recent letter to the Herald, Mr Main said his interest in the issue was "solely in my role as the concerned grandparent of seven grandchildren".
"I am not a member of any political party or environmental or activist group," he said.
"I am also not a scientist of any form, and do not claim to understand the science of climate change.
"But with so much talk and predictions and arguments about climate change, some years ago I decided to find out what the heck was actually going on.
"This led me to read what explanations scientific and meteorological institutions publish for ordinary folk like me to understand.
"And that led me to look for the facts behind the words on multiple other websites from Australian and other institutions - which yielded a lot of graphs showing how our climate has changed over the last century or so at the same time as greenhouse gas emissions have increased - and also a simple summary of the science that proves the link.
"Those graphs and that summary form the presentation I have developed."
