TACC is calling for expressions of interest from members of the community to join the board, presenting a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in your local community arts centre.
The TACC board is skills-based, with each member bringing a different set of skills and experience.
Each member actively contributes to the running and direction of the organisation which aims to support local artists and performers, contribute to the cultural development of the region and expand the depth and breadth of recreational activities available.
For those interested in finding out more, we have an information session scheduled for Tuesday January 21 at 5.30pm at TACC (18-20 Wallendoon St).
Hear from current board members and ask questions. EOIs are due by Friday January 31 at 1.30pm.
If a position on the board doesn't take your fancy, consider becoming a TACC volunteer.
Think movie usher, kiosk attendant, events, catering or workshops. Meet new people and learn new skills, whether you are young or young at heart.
Teenagers over 15 years are welcome and a participation certificate is available on request. It's a great addition to your CV. To find out more, email Julie on admin@theartscentrecootamundra.org.au
Prefer to unleash your creative side? Why not try a Dabble Day. Held on the first Thursday of each month, it is a relaxed day to try something new. The next Dabble Day is scheduled for Thursday February 6, 10am to 2pm. Jenny Neale will show you how to make a unique card using dies and embossing. Cost is $13pp. No bookings required.
If you just want to sit back and be entertained then check out the upcoming movies on the what's on section of the TACC website.
Over the next few weeks you can enjoy Jumanji: The Next Level, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Cats, Little Women and 1917.
