Free classes are being offered in 45 rural communities in Australia. In 2019 up to a dozen locals at Wallendbeen attended the Memorial Hall every Wednesday morning at 6.30am for a one-hour workout.
Participants have included three farmers, but are mostly people with less active occupations, or retired.
The Wallendbeen class is run by the owner of Harden's Hard Rock Gym, Glenn Stewart, who puts people through their paces with a wide variety of well-designed exercises.
Glenn and wife Ros will be at Wallendbeen markets on Sunday February 2. See website www.activefarmers.com.au or phone Glenn on 0409 384 444.
