A holiday program to improve children's bicycle skills will become a permanent fixture in Cootamundra.

The group of 17 children enjoyed riding around slalom markers at the school ground. Four kids who had never ridden a bike were riding confidently by midday.

For eight years, kids from dozens of towns in NSW have been benefiting from a school holiday program to improve not only bicycle skills, but the bicycles they ride too.
