The final round of the Delta Agribusiness T20 competition saw Mimosa win by 12 runs as they blasted their way to 3/152 and then restricted the Crusaders to 4/140.
In Mimosa's innings the big hitting Hamish Starr smashed his way to 84 from just 49 balls; his knock included seven fours and three sixes.
Starr was associated in a second wicket stand of 89 runs with Chris Stacey (37).
Hamish Starr has played cricket with a number of clubs. Apart from Grenfell, he has played in Sydney, Canberra and Newcastle.
The Crusaders got away to a sound start with openers Scott Meale and James Smith. Meale who was solid as ever made 24 and Smith 17, the pair adding 29.
Matt Berkrey with 37 and Darren Connell 38 not out added 54 runs for the third wicket.
The Crusaders needed 18 runs off the last over, but could only manage five.
In the other scheduled match at Cranfield Oval, Young Services Blues received their second forfeit this season when the Central Hotel could not field a side.
In the BFB/Blooms Chemist competition, both Cootamundra sides recorded excellent wins.
At Clarke Oval, the Cootamundra Ex-Services Magpies caused an upset defeating second-placed Burrangong.
The Magpies batting first made 4/143 and then bowled out Burrangong in the 19th over for 97.
The Magpies' batting card was led by Tony Rees and Ged Guthrie. Rees scored 66 while Guthrie scored his first ever 50. The pair added 127 runs for the second wicket.
Meanwhile, at Stockinbingal, the village side won a low-scoring match against the Temora Ex-Services Renegades.
The Renegades batting first were bowled out in the 18th over for just 71. Stockinbingal ran down the total with five balls to spare, finishing with 6/73.
There is a general bye this weekend in the South West Cricket League as the three associations look forward to their seven-a-side carnivals.
The competition resumes on February 1 with 40-over-a-side red ball cricket
