Sold: The Cootamundra Abattoir, capable of processing 3500 lambs and 200 cattle a day, was mothballed in February 2017 but has now been sold by Manildra Group.

After three years in mothballs Cootamundra Abattoir has been bought by a Victorian meat processing company, reviving hopes for the return of hundreds of jobs to the town, lost when the facility closed in early 2017.
