Cassie looked simply splendid in a full lace gown, and their beautiful daughter Valley was also dressed in white lace (have such a divine photo of Cassie and Valley but not room to show - will be coming in a later edition of Around Cootamundra).
Bridesmaids were Alix Emonson and Maree (Pud) Tulenew.
Grant was ably assisted by groomsmen Nathan McGowan and Brent Lange.
Grant and Cassie sum up their wedding day as "special" with family and friends there to witness their union.
How lucky are we here in Cootamundra to be currently seeing the latest movie releases?
TWIN HILLS SUCCESS
I was watching the Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling Sales earlier this month and thrilled to note TOP gentleman Olly Tait, who owns Twin Hills Stud together with his charming wife Amber, had such success with the sale of some of his yearlings bred at Twin Hills Stud (situated out there on the Dirnaseer Road.)
We were present at the first Open Day of Twin Hills Stud, I was duly impressed then - it bought back memories for me of the time I worked for the late Mike Willesee when it was known as Trans Media Park Stud.
I wish Olly continued good luck at future sales.

ELTON JOHN PERFORMANCE
Rumour has it a group of lucky people from Coota attended the spectacular Elton John concert in Bathurst on Wednesday night.
They were hoping to get a photo with Elton for the Around Cootamundra page!
ENJOY the best time this Sunday celebrating Australia Day.
Come along to the top line-up of 'happenings' in Jubilee Park. Lions will be serving their usual TOP breakfast from the Lions van.
SPLENDID PHOTOGRAPHY
What a delight it is to view any of the wedding photos done by first class photographer Carmen Hickey. Carmen was at the helm of the photography for the wedding of Chris Maher and Jess Tulenew. I wished I had space to show more of those sensational wedding snaps.
But do go on Carmen's Facebook site to enjoy more of her talent.
HENRY'S DISTINCTIONS
Grandson of Mary and the late Patrick (Pat) Ryan of Cootamundra and Coolac (many will remember Pat & Mary when they resided here in Cootamundra), Henry Ryan, was recognised by the NSW Department of Education with All Round Achievement and Distinguished Achievement awards with the 2019 HSC results released recently.
The All Round Achievement honour roll acknowledges students who attained the highest band six results in all subjects. Henry was a boarder at St. Ignatius College, Riverview, and is intending to further his studies at the University of Sydney and St Andrews College studying a double degree in Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce.
His father Mathew Ryan attended Sacred Heart School then Cootamundra High School and mother Sarah Taylor Harden, Murrumburrah Primary School. Mat and Sarah currently reside in New Zealand and many will remember Sarah's mum the late Annie Taylor of Harden (now there was a fun lady, who worked along with lovely lady Nicki Bolger as community nurses in Harden.) Annie retired to Bowral where she passed away a number of years back.
Henry is the nephew of Gerry Ryan of Sutton Street.
CECILY'S PASSING
The late Cecily Schumann's family asked that the following be mentioned on the Around Cootamundra page (which Cecily enjoyed reading so many years ago when a resident of Coota.)
'It is with deep sadness that I was informed of the passing of former Cootamundra resident Cecily Schumann, of Childers in Queensland.
Cecily passed away after a short illness on 16th January - aged 79 - she is to be laid to rest TODAY in Bundaberg Qld.
Cecily leaves behind husband Eric, sons David, Glen, Chris and their families - also her many friends.
Rest In Peace beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend.'
