There was a near-capacity audience of 90 at the Arts Centre exhibition space, and the evening raised $1,830 for the cause.
The audience enjoyed a great night of music from seven fine local musicians, comprising Geoff Black, Ben Visser, Murray Izzard and Peter Hogan who were joined by Clint Perry, John Fleming and Terry Martin.
The evening raised $900 from entrance to the event, with the remainder coming from donations and raffles.
Raffle prizes included a chair and towel set from Wrapped, an Eski and camping chair from Mitre 10, an etching by Annabel Marley and a Thai massage from Nippowan Chamberlain.
An organiser, Peter Hogan, thanked TACC.
"They were incredibly helpful and professional, particularly Julie Cowell and Gwen Norman, a pleasure to work with," Mr Hogan said.
"And the TACC building is an absolute treasure to the town and a perfect venue."
The blues night was a precursor to a town variety concert to be held on Saturday February 22 in the auditorium of the Ex-Servicemen's Club. Tickets will again be $10. In addition to the Blues for the Firies band entertainers will include Cathy Ashcroft, the Cootamundra High School singers and Hans country music and Blues.
