Stockinbingal is putting its weight behind the Salvation Army's Bushfire Appeal this Saturday, February 15 with a night at Ellwood's Hall.
Entertainment will be provided by the band Lock Stock & Bingle, a three piece band covering a wide range of musical styles.
The band includes Keith Turner and Tony Nichols from Stockinbingal (hence the name of the band) and Wilf Reid from Springdale.
They are comfortable playing Country hits, or rock 'n roll from the 50s to today. They also play a range of early guitar instrumentals from the Shadows, The Ventures etc.
They like to play music that will bring back memories for patrons and gets them up to dance and we keep the sound levels at a reasonable volume!
A number of raffles will be held on the night with prizes of a night's accommodation at Balcraggon Accommodation for two people, three cookware sets and brand new kids' toys.
There will be free tea and coffee - byo nibbles and drinks.
A barbecue will be available on the night.
