Bob New, Don O'Neill, Greg Fisher and Jim White secured the District Senior Fours, defeating Brian March, Geoff Holt, G Edgerton and Peter Watts from Young BC 20-12, after trailing at the halfway mark 5-10.

Friday 14: Wayne Watmore, Pickles Bradley and Wally Chater too good for Todd C, Ginger O'Brien and Rocky Ford. Great win to Frog Roberts, Jim White and Jason Jones defeating Duck O'Neill, Peter Hoang and John Goggin 20-17. Bill Rush, Paul Cockram and Graeme Snape defeated Oscar Lopez, Geoff Manwaring and Geoff Hillier 23-20, while Mick Andrews, John Huntington and Jeff Cook had a comfortable win over Ned Kelly, Bob Winter and Rob Hillier.
Sunday 16: Jeff Withers, Mark Devere and Geoff Hillier just got home against Bruce Gillies, Ned Kelly and Craig Jordan 20-19, Keith Hampton and Peter Hoang had a lucky escape against David Ingram and Rob Hillier, leading 20-4 after 11 ends but, In the final 10 ends, David and Rob made a move winning 7 of the remaining 10 ends but just fell short going down 23-19.
Ginger O'Brien, Paul Cockram and Mick Barber made short work of Oscar Lopez, Brian Driscol and Mick Willis recording a comfortable win, while Neil Blackett, Jeff Cook and Terry Smith also had a comfortable win over Steve Stanton, Bloopy Manwaring and John Goggin.

WOMEN'S BOWLS AT THE COUNTRY CLUB
There was no social play last Thursday due to a Pennants match at Young. Our side of number four pennants players lost both matches to the number three side of Young, once again in very windy conditions.
There will be social play, as usual, tomorrow.
Our popular Crazy Whist resumes tomorrow at 2.30pm. As usual, all welcome.
A reminder that as from Thursday, March 5, social play will revert to names in by 9.30am for a 10am start.
