Last Friday, while this scribe was enjoying a golden alumni dinner at Kinross Walaroi school, there were a couple of hard-fought games being played a the Country Club. K. Medcalf, C. Willis and G. Davidson racked up a four-shot win over E. Jarrott, R. Cleveland and W. Manwaring. But it was not like that for K. Ryan, C. Miiller and G. Worboys, who were somewhat outplayed by S. Wilkinson, J. Malone and R. Johnson when they finished with a 26-shot win that gave them the chooks for the day, and then the jackpot number as well.
K. Medcalf, C. Willis and G. Davidson racked up a four-shot win.
On Sunday, K. Medcalf and G. Worboys come up with an 11-shot margin win over P. Rasmussen and K. Breasley, and then a chook win for C. Miller and D. Guthrie when they scored a 13-shot margin over E. Thorburn and R. Johnson.
Tuesday`s games were upset with the need for bowler to return home to Harden. Those remaining were reshuffled for the remainder of play.
Games will be played in the President Reserve Triples this weekend.
