Unfortunately last week's darts round was the final one as the government closed pubs and clubs for the foreseeable future in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
"With the government announcing that pubs and hotels are closing during the coronavirus situation sadly we must put the darts comp on hold until further notice," the Cootamundra District Darts said in a statement.
"We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Last week's round saw the top two undefeated teams, Winmas and Icehouse do battle to see who is the dominant team in Cootamundra Darts.
Icehouse were off to a good start with Steve and Neil winning their singles over Sarah and Leanne with both games going to the deciding third leg.
Next singles seen the captains Lee and Fad battle it out.
This was a game that the Fad was nervous about all week.
Despite the nerves, Fad came out victor 2-0 in a game that could have easily went the over way. Neil and Fad sealed the win for Icehouse in the first doubles.
The girls continued to fight with Lee and Sarah winning the next doubles with Lee finishing on a beautiful 109 peg. Sadly for the girls this was the only game they won with Neil and Steve pegging the last doubles game. Despite the girls going down 5-1 it could have easily been the other way around. Well done Winmas, awesome effort.
With three rounds left can the three Little Drunks, Outlaws and Treble Threat be the ones to stop Icehouse? Time shall tell.
Treble Threat bounced back this week after losing to the Winmas last week with a 6-0 win over the Bandits, despite a bit of strategy by Bandits captain Amber putting herself in "B" position.
Farmers 3 scored their second win for the competition with another 6-0 score line over the 3 Little Drunks.
Highlight of their game was Drunks guest play Lisa nearly scoring the magical 180, both Lisa and scorer thought it was in until closer inspection showed it was a 140, still a good score.
Well done Lisa and thanks for travelling to fill in again.

Cootamundra District Darts reassured players that competition will return as soon as pubs and clubs reopen.
"Sadly we must inform all of our players that due to the new rules laid out tonight that all hotels are closed until further notice," Cootamundra District Darts said.
"Therefore this means that Coota Darts is on break until they reopen. I'm sure all are disheartened by this but sadly we can't do nothing about it."
