"It's been a fantastic season overall," club president Mark Lake said.
The South West Zone runs a competition based on points achieved at each swim meet, during each season.
"It was great to receive notification that our Club came first overall out of all clubs that swim in the South West Zone winning the Premiership Cup for achieving the most overall championship points," he said.
Cootamundra last won the Premiership Cup 36 years ago during the 1983-84 season.
"The Club is extremely proud of all our swimmers dedication and effort throughout the season," Mr Lake said.
"To win the Premiership Cup is an outstanding achievement for our club as the last time we won the Premiership Cup was in the 1983/1984 season.

"The club this season presently has 90 swimmers registered.
"To achieve our results this year is as a result of all swimmers enjoying themselves, improvement, dedication to training, and attending swimming meets.
"These results would not be able to be achieved without the dedication and support of our coaches, parents and committee."
In addition to taking out the Premiership Cup, Cootamundra also finished the season with the Batlow Apples Shield and the Gregson Cup.
The Batlow Apples Shield is presented to the club that finishes with the highest number of non championship points during the season.
The club came was joint winners of the Gregson Cup, Young Swimming Club, for achieving the most relay points during the season.
