Wallendbeen greyhound Copper Canyon will have to overcome an unfavourable draw to win Tuesday's Ladbrokes 1-3 Wins Series Final (440m) at Goulburn.
The son of Fernando Bale negotiated last week's heats to book his spot in the $2000-to-the-winner race.
Trained by Jack and Lorraine Roy, Copper Canyon has showed plenty of promise in his young career despite only winning on one occasion from 12 starts.
He broke his maiden on March 3 at Goulburn and has seven placings to his name.
Hi has drawn box five which is one he is familiar with and has consistently performed from having placed in three out of three races when he's worn the yellow rug.
Copper Canyon will need to show speed early to compete with Just Sirius, for Bungendore trainer Lesley Hannaford, who has started his career with a bang winning four from four races at the distance and track.
He launches from box six and will be the one to beat.
In other races on the day, Bendick Murrell trainer Garry Sheather has kennelmates Thin Little and Humble Mouse entered.
Thin Little is aiming to post his first win in the Mellcat Cleaning Maiden (440m).
He's had 19 starts and will be looking to improve on a fourth placed finished over the distance at the track last outing.
He's drawn box five.
Humble Mouse will be hoping to make the most of the favourable draw in the Adopt A Greyhound Pathways Stakes (350m).
He's set to leave box one and will be chasing his fourth win in start 54.
Jack and Lorraine Roy also have London Tom entered in the Goulburn Workers Club Stakes (440m).
