While a public event was not possible, the Show Society was undeterred in wanting to do something for their local community. They decided on a 'virtual show', taking what aspects of a traditional show they can online in September.
"Although we can-not have a public show, we would still like to keep the spirit of the show alive and bring you a virtual show," President Andrew Jones said.

All pavillion sections will be retained this year, however the number of classes will be reduced.
Entry fees will be waived for exhibitors and the pavillion closed to the public.
Judging will take place with results to be announced on social media, the show website and in local newspapers.
The cattle, sheep and pet shows will continue with entrants asked to submit a photo of their entry via Facebook, email or post.
These photos will be passed on to the relevant judges before winners are announced online and in local print media.
The woodchop events will continue as usual with spectators not likely to be permitted. A final decision on the inclusion of spectators in these events will be made close to the show date.
Unfortunately the show dog and yard dog competitions have had to be cancelled.
Exactly how the horse events can proceed is still to be determined.
The fireworks will go ahead, however at this stage, spectators will not be allowed and the display will have to be enjoyed from people's homes.
