Rod Bradley controlled his game against Mick Ryan with a great display of draw bowls winning 31-10 and now plays Peter Colvin in the semi-final.

Peter Hoang and John Goggin went in as favourites for this round of the Major Pairs, with their opponents Don O'Neill and Bruce Gillies having to be at their best to walk away with a win.

This was a very close encounter with three ends to go the score was 15-14 in Peter and John's favour but, Don and Bruce finisher the stronger to record a 20-17 win.

Social bowls:

Wednesday 8th consisted of two Pairs games and a Triples game, with Frog Roberts and Terry Smith combining to defeated Keith Hampton and Jim White 31-23, while in the remaining pairs game Tony Curtis and John Goggin had to fight all the way to defeat Rocky Ford and Graeme Dennis 19-18. The triples game was a cliff-hanger with the score 24 all after the allotted 21 ends, so an extra end was called for with John Huntington, Terry Cosgrove and Geoff Hillier recording a 26-24 win against Mick Andrews, Peter Hoang and Jeff Cook.

Friday 10th Jim White, Jason Jones and Terry Smith defeated Graeme Dennis, Keith Hampton and Pickles Bradley. In another triples game Jeff Withers, Steve Stanton and Craig Jordan defeated Mick Ryan, Dean Wright and Les Williams 19-12 (Dean and Les were visitors from Temora.), while Mario, Ginger O'Brien and Geoff Hillier defeated Ash Cooper, Rocky Ford and Bloopy Manwaring 25-16.

Sunday 12th Craig Jordan and John Goggin defeated Keith Hampton and Terry Smith 23-15. Frog Roberts and Bob New had a narrow 18-14 win against Jason Jones and Jim White, while George and Paul Cockram combined to dominate their game against Ash Cooper and Bloopy Manwaring.
