Well-known for luxury overseas small-group tours, the Bill Peach Journeys group has included Cootamundra in its itinerary for a tour of the NSW Riverina in NSW in October.

The seven-day tour will cost its 12 participants from $5,590 each, and start with a flight from Sydney to Wagga on 10 October.
Dubbed "Springtime in the NSW Riverina" it will be the first post-Covid tour the company will operate this year, having cancelled all its tours during the pandemic.
The tour company was established by Bill Peach 27 years ago, after his retirement from the ABC where he was compere of Four Corners and This Day Tonight.
As can be expected, the group has no overseas tours on its books this year, although trips such as South America, starting at $28,995, are being advertised for next year, with travel times to be announced.
The visit to Cootamundra will be for a few hours, calling in after an overnight stay at Jugiong.
The tour will then go to Temora, where it will take in the Aviation Museum, going on to Griffith where it will overnight.
The itinerary describes Cootamundra as "an important agricultural hub, renowned for being the birthplace of famous cricketer, Sir Donald Bradman".
The group will spend their first two days in Wagga, day 3 at Gundagai and Jugiong, day 4 at Cootamundra, Temora and Griffith, day 5 at Griffith, and day 6 at Narrandera and Lockhart (Bill Peach's birthplace), before returning to Wagga on 16 October.
