A MAN who was allegedly caught speeding at 169km/h with his pregnant partner and three children in the car has had his licence suspended.

Officers from the Riverina Highway Patrol were patrolling Goldfields Way at Old Junee at 10.30pm on August 21 when they saw a station wagon allegedly travelling at 169km/h in a signposted 80km/h zone.
"The car was stopped and police spoke with the driver, a 50-year-old man," officers said.
"He returned a positive roadside drug test and was arrested and taken to Temora Police Station for a secondary test. The results are pending on this test.
The man was issued with a $2482 fine and six demerit points for speeding. His licence was suspended for six months.
Three children under the age of seven were in the back seat and a child-at-risk notification was made to Family and Community Service (FACS).
