Hugo Emery lead from the top of the order for Cootamundra Cobras in their win over Cootamundra Titans in the first round of the South West Slopes Blooms Chemist Under 13s competition on the weekend.

Emery carried his bat (58 not out) in the Cobras total of 5/138.
Ben Piffero was next best, batting down the order, contributing 16 runs.
Sam Bassingthwaite (1-13), Reid McTavis (1-26) and Ryan Radnedge (1-23) , Henry Hazlett (1-8) and N Hutchings (1-14) were the wicket takers for Titans.
When it came their turn to bat Titans put in a good allround team performance but none of the team were able to match the earlier heroics of Emery.
Henry Hazlett was best with the bat for Titans, making a well compiled 25.
Matilda Coggan, at the top of the order, put on 13 runs as did Paul Bean, who remained not out.
Reid McTavis also had a good all round game, finishing 14 retired not out.
The Cobras bowling attack was lead by Ben Piffero who finished with 2-11 off five overs.
Ben Randall (1-9), Aiden Smith (1-16) and Hugo Emery (1-9) also took wickets.
In the field Paul Bean took two catches for Titans and Dom Shepherd a single catch.
Hugo Emery executed a run out for Cobras and Jessy Fisher took one catch.
