The Cootamundra Lions Club fireworks extravaganza was held on November 21 with Santa making a guest appearance, much to the delight of his many young fans. Mrs Claus was also in attendance to launch the festive season. Held in Fisher Park the annual fireworks display took place at 9.00pm with carnival rides from 5.00pm, Santa on a train at 7.30pm. The Lions BBQ was in operation and a ham wheel was in operation. Cootamundra Herald photographer Kelly Manwaring was there to capture some of the festive celebrations.
