RESIDENTS passing through Parker Street on Friday morning would have been treated to the curious sight of trucks aboard trucks as a group of vintage truck owners from Central NSW made a brief stop over on their way to the Lancefield Heritage truck display held last weekend.

Travelling from Molong, the convoy incorporated a total of five heritage trucks which were carried on three larger vehicles.
Truck owner Pat Morris said the trip had generated a lot of interest from people who saw them on the road.
“As soon as anyone sees a bunch of these machines together, they come over and start talking to us,” he said.
“Heritage trucks are pretty common but no one is used to seeing them travel in a big group like this.”
The Lancefield Heritage truck display features vehicles that are 25 years or older with Dodge and Graham Bros Trucks among the motors exhibitors.
