LONG TIME FRIENDS:
Seen out at the Cootamundra Picnic Races were long time friends (from left) Ron and Carmel Duffey, Geoff Eggleton (Wollstonecraft), Helen Ward, Carol Eggleton and Celia and Don Forsyth from Nelson Bay. Carmel, Carol and Geoff did their Learning Certificate at the Cootamundra High School back in 1959.
CHATTING: Enjoying a cup of tea at the “Shower” in Wattle Grove’s Boatshed community hall this week was Margaret Nixon and Chris Holland. Proceeds from the morning tea will go the Cootamundra Nursing Home Sprinkler Appeal.
CUPPA FOR A CAUSE:
Enjoying a cuppa at the “Shower” at Wattle Grove’s Community Hall this week for the Cootamundra Nursing Home Sprinkler Appeal were June Holland and Val Hughes.
CHALLENGE:
Braybrooks Pharmacy’s Judy Braybrooks has put out the challenge to Cootamundra businesses to donate to the Snowy Hydro SouthCare.
Daughter Fiona Braybrooks raised $500 from a Jelly Bean in a jar guessing competition, with the pharmacy matching it to take its donation to $1000.
Mrs Braybrooks urges businesses to think of innovative ways to raise money for this worthy cause, adding you never know when you or your family will need to use the
service.

FUNDRAISING: Pictured at the fundraising morning tea for the Cootamundra Nursing Home Sprinkler Appeal in the Boatshed at Wattle Grove were Maurya Hogan and Fae Elich.
Critically acclaimed quintet Takadimi will conduct a body percussion workshop next Tuesday, April 22.
Cootamundra residents will also have the opportunity to view the band’s amazing talent at a performance on Wednesday, April 23 from 7pm.
The group will also conduct a pop up performance a long Parker Street around 6pm the today – so keep your eyes peeled.
