COOTAMUNDRA stock agents Holman Tolmie and Delta Agribusiness hosted a cattle sale last Thursday with 70 trade and 20 export cattle yarded in a good quality yarding.

All lines offered for sale sold to similar rates to other larger centres.
A very good line of vealers and yearlings sold to spirited competition with the better pens making 200 to 215 c/kg.
Finished heifers made 175 to 184c/kg with the plainer lines making 150 to 172c/kg. Heavy steers over 500kg topped at 196c/kg.
Cows topped at 135c/kg and bulls sold to 140 to 155 c/kg.
Both vendors and processors were happy with the quality offered and prices received.
