Just as it is crucial for parents and caregivers to always directly supervise children around any body of water, children should be taught the necessary skills to confidently swim at least 25 metres.
With this in mind EA Southee Public School will commence its annual 10 Day Swim School on the first day of summer, Monday December 1.
Thanks to an arrangement with the Cootamundra Shire Council, qualified swim instructors will be teaching the students and the only cost will be the pool admission charge of $2.50 per visit.
This is a total cost of $25 for the entire course, to be paid to the school, and no cost for students who already have a pool season pass.
For any further enquiries please contact swimming co-ordinator Larry Wing at the school on 6942 1166.
