The Annual Community Christmas Party will feature market and food stalls, an entertainment stage set up in Bourke Street, ice-cream van, face painting and street theatre, a visit from Santa and an opportunity for photos with Santa as well as extended shopping hours making it the ideal setting for any last minute Christmas shopping.
Certainly something for everyone, this year there will be a variety of stalls featuring an array of products. As of last Friday there were already 16 stalls with this figure growing including toys, handmade jewellery, kids tutus and headbands and health and wellbeing products.
The Cootamundra Public School P and C will be there with their cookbooks ‘Cootalicious’.
There will be two chocolate wheels, one by the Lions Club and one by the Girl Guides so be sure to support these!
When it comes to entertainment on the main stage, look out for Georgia Gregg of Cootamundra singing, Harry Cleverdon of Wombat who performed with the Phat Boyz recently in Young, the gorgeous Christine Wishart’s Dance Studio dancers who are always so talented and entertaining, the Cootamundra Concert Band who do a sterling job wherever they are and the Wattle Country Music Club.
If you’ve filled in a Shop Local voucher be around to see if you’ve won - there will be four $200 prizes worth of shopping vouchers to be won and a major prize of $400 in vouchers.
This year, two businesses which participated in the Shop Local promotion will also win $100 each in vouchers from other local stores.
