THE VINE
Had a special note from June Sullivan -
Cootamundra is very fortunate to have a lovely lending library here in Parker Street which I believe many people are unaware of.
It’s called “The Vine” situated next to E’Claires Coffee shop, and has an amazing number of christian books for borrowing (free of charge).
The Vine also has items for sale including handmade jewellery from Cambodia, where a number of our local youngsters have spent time volunteering.
The Four Square Church members have set up this shop and volunteer their time, sure to make you welcome when you pop in for a visit or to borrow books.
The books are by many well known authors, reaching across all christian faiths.
Do feel free to call in and have a browse.
WOMAN TO WOMAN
Next Wednesday night February 25, in the Stephen Ward Rooms, an evening under the banner of ‘Woman to Woman’, personal empowerment with Dimity.
This amazing, passionate, impressive lady will in 90 minutes impart on you how to feel happy, feel content, confident and at peace and know what you want and how to get it!
IF you are feeling anxious, stressed, depressed, can’t get motivated, well Dimity is the girl to help you.
The evening commences at 7pm, and just a phone call to Lindy Chalmers on 0421 017 473, or call into Twomeys to see her and book a spot at this most enlightening event.
REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY
An ecumenicial Rememberence Ceremony willl take place in the Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday next, February 25, commencing at 6.30pm for 7pm commencement.
All are MOST WELCOME to come along and join in this evening of prayer and remembrance.
AND in finishing the Around Cootamundra page I want to mention that next Wednesday morning, February 25, the Cootamundra Herald will have a stand outside the Cootamundra Newsagency, there in Wallendoon Street , with the NEW LOOK Cootamundra Herald there for all to see!!
Do come along and meet the ‘hierarchy’ of the Fairfax Group who will be in town, tell them what a GREAT town Coota is, AND how we are going to ‘embrace’ the changes to our newspaper.
I have seen the new format/layout and I know all will ENJOY the read!!
SEE YOU ON WEDNESDAY NEXT.
