The exhibition, ‘Place: Spaces and Beyond’, is a compilation of April Glaser-Hinder’s sculpture, video and poetry, Bev Moxon’s sculptural weavings, Lorraine Blackwell’s paintings and drawings and Graham Cossey’s sketches and paintings.
Mrs Moxton said they have been collaborating for years and were keen to promote Cootamundra in this exhibit.
“My work was about the landscape, I’ve taken fibres found in Cootamundra and woven them into a sculpture,” she said.
Other works on display explore “the ebb and flow of regional towns” and “interior space in Cootamundra”.
NSW Senator Fiona Nash opened the exhibition in February conveying that she was impressed by the high standard of work produced by regional artists.
