Nationals candidate for Cootamundra Katrina Hodgkinson is today attempting to beat her previous record of 26 polling booths visited in one day.

“As I did in 2011, I want to meet as many of the booth workers as possible on Polling Day to personally thank them for their support of my campaign,” Ms Hodgkinson said.
She will have further to go this year though as boundaries for the new seat of Cootamundra, which replaces Burrinjuck, mean sites are further apart.
The Nationals MP began her day in Mulyan and has since visited sites large and small, including in Cowra, Koorawatha, Bendick Murrell and Young, where she cast her vote.
Ms Hodgkinson will end her long day in Cootamundra.
Supporters are invited to join her at her Parker St campaign office from 6pm as the results are tallied.
“It's been a long election campaign and we are doing our best for regional areas to win government for the betterment of NSW, to continue being a strong voice for our region,” Ms Hodgkinson said.
"I’ve been doing this for 16 years and now I’m asking for four more so I can continue my mission of making this part of NSW the best it can be.
“I am really focused on the area I represent and dedicated to getting the best results, services and infrastructure for people living in the country.”
