Cootamundra associated agents yarded 6140 Sheep and Lambs at it fortnightly sale last Wednesday. This was an increase of nearly 1600 from previous sale.

The sale was made up of
3524 lambs
1540 ewes
624 hoggets
197 wethers
174 rams
81 old sheep
The market was very strong with up to 12 buyers present the sale was $8 dearer for lambs and $10 to $15 dearer for mutton.
Top price of the day was recorded by Graham Halbisch of Stockinbingal, for an outstanding price of $180. These lambs were estimated to be 32 KG CW carrying an $8 Jacket. They came back at $5.40/KG CW, and went to Junee Abattoirs.
