THE Cootamundra Day VIEW Club held its AGM on February 4 at a new venue, The Olympic Hotel where the election was conducted by zone councillor, Margaret Elmes, for office bearers for 2016.

Our new committee members are president Helen Eccleston, vice-president Jan Watson, secretary/programme officer Jenny McAinsh, treasurer June Rees and assistant treasurer Audrey Taber.
If any members wish to take on a vacant position please do not hesitate to come forward.
We have a very busy year ahead of us with fundraising raffles to support our local school end of year book awards and not forgetting the sponsorship of our three Learning for Life students.
The first raffle sales will begin in April for our Mother’s Day pamper basket.
At present, with the generous donations from local businesses and community members, we are making up care packages to be delivered to “The Drought Angels” in Chinchilla, Queensland for distribution to the many women affected by the drought.
Please accept our sincere thanks to all who have helped be a successful venture.
At the next meeting on March 3 we will celebrate our 43rd birthday with a theme of “Pretty in Pink”.
