Last June, the trial of Peter Nicholas Joseph Lennox, 77, was listed for March this year.
Instead, the case has been stood over for mention in Downing Centre District Court in Sydney on September 5.
The District Court confirmed the adjournment this week.
The case has not been listed for trial at this stage.
Lennox faces 17 charges, including 10 counts of indecent assault on a male.
Lennox was arrested at Cootamundra in November, 2014, and initially charged with 10 alleged offences relating to his time teaching at schools in Goulburn and Manly in the 1970s.
