Fire captain Les Carr recommends joint emergency services complex on former Mitre 10 site

With fire trucks getting bigger, Fire and Rescue NSW Cootamundra is likely to face the same issue in the future as the NSW Ambulance with vehicles not fitting in the current station. NSW Ambulance has been pledged funds from the state government for a new purpose-built station.

On the back of a commitment to fund a brand-new ambulance station in Cootamundra, Fire and Rescue NSW Cootamundra captain Les Carr is suggesting a combined ambulance station and fire brigade.
