The Wanderers youngsters won seven of their eight Kanga Cup games on the way to claiming the title in Canberra on Friday, downing Northbridge FC 2-0 in the final.
The victory comes after the young side claimed the Country Cup last month.
Mindi Quade was superb for Wagga City throughout the tournament, emerging as the side’s leading goal scorer and slotting both goals in the final.
Piper was similarly prolific in front of goals, while goalkeeper Ebony Warner consistently held balls out.
In the Country Cup semi final, the girls went into extra time at 1-all before Piper managed to score in the dying minutes from a penalty kick from the sideline.
Coach Gary Lyons said that while his side was exceptionally talented, it was their camaraderie which had fuelled their recent success.
“There’s a fantastic team vibe amongst the girls,” he said.
Lyons indicated the girls are just as happy to see new players score and do well as they are to win.
“They have a lot of fun out there and the winning seems to stem from that positivity,” he said.
