PAT Francis, Neta Manwaring and Betty Cleveland competed in a triples tournament at Gundagai on August 2. While not winning overall, they had a good day, winning both their matches.

On Sunday, August 6, ten of our members enjoyed participating in the Bland Creek Triples tournament at Stockinbingal Bowling Club. This was a fundraising occasion to assist the Harden/Stockinbingal ladies.
Last Thursday, as current holders of the Calloway Richards Shield, our club hosted this year's event. Fine weather and a lovely lunch following play made it a very successful day. The winners, by a narrow margin, were Harden/Stockinbingal.
Congratulations to Betty Cleveland and Karen McMinn who are Club Pairs Champions for 2017, following a hard-fought two-point win against Pat Francis and Betty Vicq.
Club Triples Championships first round will be played September 28.
