THE number who were present at this month's Hospital Auxiliary meeting was very indicative of the recent cold weather.

Five of our lady members attended the AGM of the Junee Hospital Auxiliary.
It proved to be very informative as well as very sociable.
The next Auxiliary AGM we hope to attend will be the Temora Hospital. Always a worthwhile trip.
The report from our last raffle, the load of wood was very pleasing. The amount raised being $760.
The next raffle is for Father's Day tickets on sale at IGA.
First prize is a $100 fuel voucher.
Second prize, a car emergency care kit.
This raffle will be drawn at our street stall Friday, August 25 outside Westpac Bank from 9am.
Take advantage of the delicious home made cakes, slices, scones and biscuits on sale.
Over the last month a lot of very generous donations were handed over to our treasurer, from The Lions Club, Rotary Club,Combined Emergency Ball Committee and money accepted in lieu of flowers at funerals.
This generosity is very much appreciated by the auxiliary and the hospital.
Without the auxiliary our hospital would not be as well equipped as it is.
This in turn is a big boost for our community.
It is always well to remember that all money collected in Cootamundra stays in the town.
The next auxiliary meeting will be Tuesday, September 12. All welcome.
