Rooms are dedicated to individual subjects with the expansive premises sure to through up something of interest.
Last Friday, August 18, the Heritage Centre celebrated its 18th birthday with the unveiling of the Jindalee School bell.
There was also morning tea for the dedicated volunteers who man the centre imparting their wisdom on all things historical to those passing through, and also those who lend a hand to the upkeep of the building and displays.
Together with the Bradman’s Birthplace museum, the Heritage Centre is a must see on the itinerary of any visitor and for locals alike, is well worth a look.
The centre is located on Hovell Street, next to the railway complex.
