Popular rugby union figure Josh Mann-Rea will return to Cootamundra this weekend for the Tricolours and Tricollettes presentation evening on Friday night.

The Brumbies and Wallabies hooker cut a fine figure at the Junior Bears presentation afternoon last week and will reprise his role guest speaker and award-giver for the senior sides.

The evening will celebrate a successful year of rugby union in Cootamundra with both sides featuring in the GrainCorp Cup Southern Division finals series.

The Tricolours were denied a shot at premiership glory after being upset 28-17 by Temora in their home preliminary final while the Tricollettes fell agonisingly short of a maiden title in their 27-24 loss to West Wyalong in the women’s grand final.

The evening will kick off at the Globe Hotel from 5.30pm before presentations at the Showgrounds around 6.30pm.
