WOMEN’S: Not much bowling last week but a most enjoyable trip to Sydney to see Beautiful - The Carole King story. Saturday morning only four members came and played a pairs game. It was Lorraine and Freda versus Shirley and Sara with Sara's side winning. During our game, when the town clock struck 11am, we all stood silent for a minute in respect.

MEN’S: Social bowls: Wednesday Oscar Lopez, Rob Hillier & Roman Bondaruk defeated Steve Leggett, Wayne Watmore & Alan Small 31-14, on Friday Denis O’Brien, Rob Hillier & Pat O’Brien defeated Keith Hampton, Geoff Hillier & Alan Small 17-11 and on Sunday Oscar Lopez & Geoff Hillier defeated Nigel Buttriss & Adam New 24-23 with Keith Hampton & Don O’Neill defeated Jeff Cook & Bob New 28-20. Next weekend is our members’ tournament with $600 up for grabs. Plenty of spots left.
