Created more than 800 million years ago, Flinders Range holds an array of unique fossils and founded the Ediacaran era. Nominated as ‘National Landscape’ of Australia, it is one of the oldest surviving environments on Earth.

Do not be fooled by its desert-like landscape as it has a lot of hidden wildlife if one looks closely.

It also has a rich aboriginal heritage and will appeal to history buffs and geologists.
